Latino Young Adult Leadership Council

Latino Young Adult Leadership Council

Calling all Latino Young Adults!
Edúcate Ya, a non-profit Latino Community Based Organization, is now recruiting members for its Latino Young Adult Leadership Council. We are looking for Latinos and Latinas ages 18 to 35 to be part of this exciting opportunity.

The goal of the Latino Young Adult Leadership Council is to encourage Latino young adults to develop their leadership skills while becoming more involved in their communities.

This is a free program run by and for the Latino young adults who meet bi-monthly at the Edúcate Ya office. Council members are required to make a one year commitment.

Responsibilities of council members:
  • Attend monthly trainings on leadership, personal development, health education and community participation
  • Plan community service activities and partner with other organizations
  • Fundraise for the Leadership Council
  • Report to the Edúcate Ya board members about your activities
  • Educate Latinos on a variety of issues you find important
  • Plan educational opportunities for the Leadership Council
  • Find ways to encourage other Latinos to get involved in their community
