REGULAR PROGRAM

This is the most popular of our Spanish courses. You will be placed in a class with students of a similar ability level. With a maximum of four students per group, your participation is assured and progress guaranteed.
Classes are given from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a 20-minute break at 10 a.m. During times of high enrollments, afternoon classes may be given from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a 20-minute break at 3 p.m. This program offers you a lot of Spanish instruction while still allowing you enough free time for other activities. In the rare event that we are unable to place you in a group class due to differing skill levels, we shall instead provide 3 hours of individual tutoring.

Homestay: Living with a Costa Rican host family
|
We highly recommend taking part in our homestay program to enhance your Spanish language learning. This program provides an opportunity to practice communication in real-life situations, reinforcing classroom instruction and motivating you to learn faster and more effectively than staying in a hotel.
The Costa Rican people are known for their excellent hospitality and love of hosting visitors. Living with a "Tico" family will offer you an unforgettable cultural experience. During your homestay, you will have a private room equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a bed, desk, chair, lamp, nightstand, and window. In some cases, you may have a private bathroom, but often it will be shared. We consider various factors such as the home, neighborhood, family composition, and public transportation when selecting families to ensure that your stay is safe and convenient.
Most importantly, our host families are not only providing a place to stay and meals, but they are also interested in your well-being and cultural exchange. They will share their culture and learn about yours while helping you with your homework and correcting your speaking errors. Participating in our homestay program is a unique opportunity to learn Spanish, experience Costa Rican culture, and make unforgettable memories. |

SUMMER PROGRAM
In this intensive summer program in Costa Rica, students will be enrolled in language classes from Monday to Friday for four hours per day, plus multiple activities around the country.
Classes will be determined by the student’s level of proficiency or student’s home institution. Spanish classes are offered at all levels.
