​OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKER   :   OCTAVIANO MERECÍAS 

ACTIVIST - LEADER - WRITER

​​Octaviano Merecias is a trilingual writer, award-winning speaker, and a distinguished leader in education and research. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced Studies in Education, where he also earned a post-master’s certification in Mind, Brain, and Education. His current research focuses on examining how systemic or institutional educational factors contribute to psychosomatic and psychological reactions. His most recent scientific publication centers on advancing work with neurodivergent communities. With over 20 years of experience, Octaviano has successfully managed and directed projects across the private sector, nonprofit organizations, and primarily higher education institutions.
