Enhance your comprehension of the intricate cultural dynamics shaping Mexico while gaining insights into the educational expectations of Mexican immigrant families for their children. This program not only deepens your grasp of the language but also immerses you in the rich cultural heritage of your students. By doing so, you'll be better equipped to cater to the needs of Mexican students within your school community, fostering improved communication with their families, facilitating the acculturation process, and enhancing student achievement.

Program Includes:

• Two-week course running Monday to Friday, starting at 9:00 AM and concluding at 2:00 PM.
• Engaging cultural afternoon activities: Field trips to schools, museum tours, weekend excursions, and meetings with local community groups offer participants opportunities to deepen their understanding of Mexican culture and education while honing their language skills.
• Two field trips in Morelos, providing firsthand experiences and insights into the local culture and educational system.

Cost:  US$1,680 includes full room (shared) and board in a home stay, 2 weeks of intensive Spanish instruction, educational materials, cultural activities, local excursions in Cuernavaca. Cost does not include round trip airfare to Mexico City, nor transportation from and to the Mexico City airport.
