14th Annual Gala Fundrising - CELEBRATING 21 YEARS
Picture
Participants, students, volunteers and friends of Educate Ya:

We were not able to host last year's gala, which would have celebrated our 20th Anniversary as a non-profit in Portland. Life sometimes surprises us with challenges that need to be taken seriously; COVID-19 has changed the course of all our lives and at the same time has given us the opportunity to value the people and things we have in life. We hope you are well and ready to renew our calling when life returns closer to normal. With the same excitement we are inviting you to our rescheduled Gala Dando Bailando "Viva la Vida" on September 18th, 2021, at the Laurelhurst Club, we will celebrate not only 21 years of being a nonprofit but a survival and resilient organization that wants to continue working with the communities we serve.

We hope you can make it to our event where we will safely get together to celebrate and raise funds for the programs we are offering to our community without costs. If you can not make it but wish to contribute we urge you to donate whatever you can. You can do it via our website or sending a check or calling our office. Thank you very much for your work and support which has enabled Educate Ya to exist for 21 years.

With gratitude!
Rafael Arellano-Barrera

What Our Clients Are Saying

"EducateYa is a wonderful community place where I had the privilege to teach English to Spanish speakers in Portland. My students came from Hillsboro and drove all the way into town because the methods EducateYa used are so successful. The management at EducateYa, including Rafael Arellano-Barrera are encouraging to all teachers and students to learn, experiment and grow. I highly recommend EducateYa for its mission statement and principles to make everyone in the U.S. bilingual. Yes!"
Nana Nash

"Educate Ya, is an amazing place to learn and build community in the Portland area."

Great school. Super teachers Well worth my drive from Vancouver. Tried another Portland school and Educate Ya was hands down better.
